You have excellent communication and delivery skills and can adapt your teaching, learning and assessment strategies as appropriate to the student(s). You will have knowledge and experience of working in an accredited learning environment.

You will design, assess, evaluate and deliver courses to meet the identified needs of all the student(s), taking into account their differing levels of knowledge, skills, experience and needs, enabling all to achieve their learning outcomes, within the remit of Gateway's ESOL curriculum.

You will work closely with our Business Development and Learning and Development Teams and our Examinations' Officer who will support you before and during your courses.

ACRES:

- The Adult College for Rural East Sussex provides learning in and around the towns of Battle, Crowborough, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and Wadhurst.

- There may be the opportunity to expand the provision to other times and venues once the quality of your teaching is assured and learner demand is identified.

- It is possible that an additional learning support tutor will also be in place to support learners with additional needs, and therefore there will be a requirement for the successful applicant to liaise with them and plan for any additional learning needs within the cohort of students.

- In return, ACRES offers full mentoring and support, the opportunity for further training, and potential to expand teaching.
