OFSTED

ACRES is subject to inspection by Ofsted for our funded provision.

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Childrens Services and Skills. Ofsted is a non-ministerial department. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people.

Ofsted aims to improve lives by raising standards in education and childrens social care. They inspect and regulate thousands of organisations and individuals providing education, training and care - from childminders to training providers, schools to local authorities and share what they find by issuing inspection reports for each inspection which they publish on their website. They report directly to Parliament, parents, carers and commissioners.

You can visit the Ofsted website by clicking here.

ACRES was last inspected in October 2023 and we are delighted and proud to be recognised as continuing to be a good provider of adult learning. Ofsted identified many strengths in our provision and learner outcomes. Our Inspection Report can be found here.
