What you already need to know

- A degree of mobility is required. You will be expected to access the floor from standing to sitting, kneeling, lying down and getting back up
- This course is not suitable for those in the early stages of pregnancy (16 weeks or before) or pregnant and who have no previous yoga experience. We would recommend, in both cases, looking for a specialist prenatal or pregnancy yoga course.
What you will learn
Each session will start with a short introduction. Rachel, your tutor, will explain the techniques that will be covered, and what you will be doing and hope to achieve. You will start with some stretching before moving to lying on the floor. From a lying position, you will be guided by Rachel through a practice, using breathwork and finally visualisation to achieve deep relaxation. Rachel will then guide you gently back to the room and the session will end with questions being taken by the group.
