Course overview
This fun and relaxed course will give you a comprehensive introduction to the Italian language. The primary aim will be to build your confidence in speaking Italian and learn basic vocabulary which will enable you to introduce yourself, enjoy a restaurant, indulge in a spot of shopping and travel.
Our experienced Italian tutor, Susy will give you the perfect introduction to this beautiful language in this friendly course.

Wednesday, 6:30pm - 8:30pm from 28th September 2022 until 15th March 2023 for 20 weeks.
No class 26th October (Half Term) 14th, 21st, 28th December 2022 (Christmas Break), 15th February 2023 (Half Term)
Cost
The full fee is £273.00.
The concessionary fee is £135.00.
What you already need to know
This is a beginners course and you do not need any previous knowledge of Italian to join.
What you will learn
Topics will include :
- How to greet people
- How to order a drink and a meal
- How to ask and give directions
- How to give personal information about yourself and other
- Shopping, including for groceries
By the end of the course, you will have had plenty of opportunity to practise speaking some basic Italian and hopefully, you will feel empowered to use your new knowledge of the language if you visit Italy.

- Practical application of knowledge
- Viewing of video footage
- Looking at relevant websites
- Listening exercises

- Italian dictionary (optional)
Extra study or practice
When learning a new language it helps to spend some time each week practising what has been taught in the class; revising vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
Susy will set you some exercises each week and you are advised to allow time to complete these to consolidate your learning.
