Tuesday, 7:00pm - 8:30pm from 3rd May 2022 until 5th July 2022 for 8 weeks.
No class - 31st May (half term). 7th & 14th June 2022
Cost
The full fee is £79.00.
The concessionary fee is £43.00.
What you already need to know
No experience is required, just a curiosity to learn and a willingness to give it a go. Suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience alike.
Please note: You will be asked to complete a pre-course health questionnaire before the first session.
What you will learn
You cover the eight silk brocade moves leading to the Qi Gong Eternal Spring routines that you can take away and practice at home or come back and develop further.
Allan likes to share some of the philosophy of Daoism (Taoism), the history and connections of this ancient art and its relevance today.

- From tutor demonstrations of a move or sequence of moves and practising the movements

Bring to the first session
Please wear comfortable loose clothing and socks and comfortable footwear. (No jeans, please).
If good weather conditions permit, and with group agreement, some sessions of this course may take place outdoors.
Extra study or practice
You may find it beneficial to do just a few minutes of practice every day or when you have time.
About the tutor
Allan studied and practised Yang Tai Chi early in the 1980s and has continued studying Chinese philosophy through the writing of Lao Tzu. More recently, Allan studied the Eternal Spring Qi Gong and, with the blessing of his teacher, now passes on his experience, knowledge and learnings to you.

Asymptomatic testing will no longer be required to attend classes. However, we strongly suggest if you do have symptoms of Covid-19, you do not attend your class and follow guidelines found on

We ask individuals to continue to respect the personal choices of their tutor and fellow students.
- ACRES will continue to supply hand sanitisers in all classrooms
- Students will still be able to work social distanced or on separate tables if this is their choice
- Sharing of equipment will continue to be kept to a minimum, and wipes/spray provided for cleaning being handling
- Tutors and students may or may not choose to wear face coverings
