Course overview

We are a nation of pet lovers. Bring to life our beloved friends using paper cutting techniques. Capture their fun, playfulness and loyalty in a piece of art that you can take home to cherish. Cost includes all materials including the frame which is hand made by the tutor.
Where Sixth Form Centre, Heathfield Community College, Cade St. Old Heathfield, East Sussex, TN21 8RJ.
When Saturday, 10:00am - 4:00pm on 14th May 2022 for 1 day.
Cost The full fee is £68.00.

What you already need to know

No previous experience or skill is required, just a desire to try something new.

What you will learn

You will learn how to draw, cut-out and mount your own individual paper cut image.

How you will learn it

You will learn through tutor demonstrations and practical experience.

Bring to the first session

All materials are included. You may wish to bring a picture of the pet you would like to paper cut or wait to see what the tutor suggests.
The tutor will have new, sealed blades available for purchase if you wish to continue the art at home.
Please wear clothing suitable for an art workroom.

** Please bring a packed lunch as food is not provided at the venue.** Tea, coffee and biscuits are available for purchase during breaks.**

Alternatively, to register your interest in a course please email adultlearning@acres.org.uk with the course title and your contact details and a member of the team will call you back to enrol you on your chosen course.

Specific Covid Considerations:
From 24th February, following the government's announcement removing all domestic restrictions in England, we ask that you follow the published HSA guidelines.

Asymptomatic testing will no longer be required to attend classes. However, we strongly suggest if you do have symptoms of Covid-19, you do not attend your class and follow guidelines found on www.NHS.uk.
