Course overview

ESOL courses are for people whose first language is not English. They are designed to help you improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening English skills for everyday life, for communicating with friends and for working in the UK. This is an entry level Speaking and Listening course for those with little or no spoken English.
Where Uckfield Civic Centre, Civic Approach, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 1AE.
When Thursday, 10:00am - 12:00pm from 9th June 2022 until 14th July 2022 for 5 weeks.

This course is FREE to students on low income or receiving some kinds of benefits. Students who do not qualify for free courses can apply for a reduced fee. Please talk to us for more information.
Cost The full fee is £69.00. The concessionary fee is £0.00.

What you already need to know

No prior knowledge needed.

What you will learn

You will develop your skills in speaking and listening so that you become more able to take part in everyday situations of work, education, health, with friends and shopping.

How you will learn it

You will learn in a small friendly class, practising your English with other ESOL students.

Specific Covid Considerations:
From 24th February, following the government's announcement removing all domestic restrictions in England, we ask that you follow the published HSA guidelines.

Asymptomatic testing will no longer be required to attend classes. However, we strongly suggest if you do have symptoms of Covid-19, you do not attend your class and follow guidelines found on www.NHS.uk.

We ask individuals to continue to respect the personal choices of their tutor and fellow students.
