Course overview

A fun creative half day taster workshop where you will have the opportunity to weave either a willow bird feeder or nesting.

During the course

What you already need to know

This course is suitable for absolute beginners, those interested in gardening with some basic craft skills, and for students who already have some experience.

What you will learn

You will learn the willow weaving techniques to be able to construct a bird feeder or nesting.

How you will learn it

Through the tutor demonstrating each stage of the process
Working individually with one to one support from the tutor
Having many opportunities to practice each technique and skill

What do I need to bring to the first session?

£5 on the day for willow and tools

- A sharp pair of secateurs & a pair of pliers
- a notebook and pencil, coloured felt tips & a measuring tape
- Wear suitable clothing for outdoor garden work
- You may also wish to use garden gloves and eye protection
- large bin bag

This is a half day workshop.
