When? Saturday, 1:30pm - 4:00pm from 22nd June 2019 until 22nd June 2019 for 1 weeks.
Where? The course is held in Uckfield College, Downsview Crescent, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 3DJ.

You will need to provide flowers for your own arrangements . Please see list under "What do I need to bring to the first session?" To avoid unnecessary cost please do not purchase any materials or text books until you are certain that your course will run. Course decisions are normally made a week prior to the course start date.

Course overview A fun workshop where you can gain the useful skills and knowledge to be able to make your own buttonholes and corsages.
During the course
What you already need to know No previous experience needed
What you will learn - How to wire a rose using silver rose wire
- How to stitch leaves using stub wire
- How to assemble the buttonhole and corsage using floristry tape
- How to use pearl or bead-headed pins
- How to care for your arrangement so it looks fresh for your event
How you will learn it This is a hands on workshop. The tutor will demonstrate techniques and then you will work on your arrangements with guidance from the tutor as you go
What do I need to bring to the first session? For the buttonhole: 6 roses in your favourite colour, ivy leaves (at least 20)
For the corsage: bear grass (6 stems), berried ivy leaf (10), 2 orchid flowers (1 larger than the other)
You may wish to bring an apron and a pair of sharp scissors or small secateurs.
The tutor will provide all other material. You will be given handouts for all arrangements so that you can make them again at home.
